Breaking The Code – Folder Access

If you happen to be one of those using “Folder Access” folder locking software BEWARE!!!

You can download the latest version from download.cnet.com but only to crack it.

Install it and restart to let it start. Make a folder in c: drive as temp and use this software to lock it.

Now the magic begins…

1. Go to start->run and open services.msc

2. Here locate a service named “LckFldservice”.

3. Right click on it first stop and then click on properties and disable it.

4. Go to the folder where Folder access is installed generally it is C:\Program Files\FolderAccess And delete all files except LckFldMenu.dll.

5. Now go to the locked folder temp and open it. It will show this dialogue box.

6. Go to start->run and type cmd. It will open DOS-Prompt.

7. Here type the following

ren c:\temp.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} temp

AND WHOA MAGIC!!!! YOUR FOLDER IS NOW UNLOCKABLE BOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!!

How to close unnecessary processes, services and programs in windows XP

Disable or Turn off or shut down Unnecessary Services and Programs running in windows XP or windows 7.

XP released by Microsoft in 2001 for both office and home users was a great leap in terms of performance ,graphics ,software and hardware support and many more. Despite there are many unnecessary services and programs running in the background that may degrade your CPU performance and utilize system resources for no purpose. This calls for urgent action specially if you have too low RAM or Processor speed. Here’s how you can do it.

1. Go to start->run and type services.msc

2. You will see a page open like this

This page shows which all services exist, there status and what they do.

3. Now here is the list of top 3 services you do not require if you are a normal home user and should be closed

a. Automatic Updates-This services automatically downloads windows updates (if you have a genuine copy of XP) from official Microsoft website. This uses unneeded band width as well as Mb usage specially if u do not have an unlimited plan.

b. Background Intelligent Transfer –This downloads updates automatically in background.

c. Security Center-This tells whether you have firewall enabled, antivirus installed, automatic updates turned on or not. If You know about your PC you don’t require this service.

4. To close these services right click on them and click properties a dialogue box will open.

In status type select “Disabled” to stop the service permanently. You can run it again by choosing “Manual” or “Automatic” and clicking “start” in “service type”.

Now you must have an idea on using services.msc to your advantage.

How to hack or crack Administrator password in windows xp

HOW TO HACK  ANY  ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT AND CHANGE PASSWORD ON ANY COMPUTER IN WINDOWS XP.

Windows XP despite being a great window and mostly secure has some bugs which I call weak links that if broken could gain you access to almost any system. But what I am writing here is just for fun purpose and not for breaking any security code.

When you are installing windows XP , it asks for administrator password which most of us do not enter and leave it. But this is the main administrator password which if entered could fail this trick…….but as I said most people do not know this….so here’s the trick ……

1. Start the computer and press F8 continuously till a screen appears which prompts you to start windows in safe mode. Start wndows in “safe mode with command prompt”.

2. When the login screen appears, it will have an account as “administrator”. Click on it and WHOA you will be logged in without requiring any password.

3. Suddenly DOS-Prompt will appear. Here type

Net user

4. Example here “abc” is administrator and we need to change his login password.

5. So type in DOS-PROMPT

Net user<space>abc<space>*

6. When “type a password for the user” and “retype the password to confirm” appear just press enter. Do not type any password there.

This will look like this

7. Next restart the computer in normal mode and in the login screen click the hacked account as in this case is “abc”. It will not ask for password and you will be logged in.

8. Now you have access to all accounts and you can set the password for this account by going to control panel->user accounts.
